Targa Telematics appoints Paul Verkinderen as Sales Director for International Accounts

Verkinderen will be responsible for supporting the group’s international growth by developing new business opportunities.

Targa Telematics – one of the leading global players in the IoT field and the development of digital solutions and platforms for connected mobility – has announced the appointment of Paul Verkinderen as Sales Director for International Accounts.

Verkinderen will be responsible for developing new business areas, particularly with large customers, thereby supporting the international growth of Targa Telematics, which has already accelerated with the acquisition of Viasat.

The entry of Verkinderen in Targa Telematics follows the company’s strategic expansion within the European market and beyond, after having actively contributed to the international expansion of major organizations thanks to strategic partnerships with most OEMs.

His extensive experience in the automotive world ranges from telematics to leasing, from remarketing to fleet management, having held prominent roles in important companies operating in the automotive sector.

“In an increasingly complex context, with new players emerging in the automotive sector, Paul Verkinderen’s experience will provide a significant boost in achieving Targa Telematics’ goals, with the main objective of positioning the company among the leading international players in the IoT field and in the development of digital solutions for connected mobility” stated Alberto Falcione – VP Sales at Targa Telematics. “We are confident that Paul’s deep sector knowledge will help us consolidate our business areas and develop new ones”.

“I am excited to start this new journey with Targa Telematics,” commented Paul Verkinderen. “With commitment and determination, I am ready to contribute to the company’s mission of providing cutting-edge and sustainable solutions for connected vehicles. With my hands-on experience, I plan to develop new synergies and business opportunities to continue promoting innovation in our sector”.
