Targa Viasat Belgium becomes Targa Telematics Belgium and appoints David Van den Bogaert as Country Manager

Targa Viasat Belgium officially becomes Targa Telematics Belgium. This name change marks the completion of Viasat’s integration into the Targa Telematics group and opens a new chapter for the Belgian subsidiary. The company now has a clearly defined local strategy and vision, led by its new Country Manager, David Van den Bogaert. Under his leadership, the Belgian entity intends to strengthen its business development and sharpen its market positioning.
This new dynamic also aims to strengthen customer relationships and offer more proactive support. It will accelerate business growth and consolidate synergies between the Belgian and French teams. The sharing of expertise between the two countries is a major lever in supporting the expansion of Targa Telematics Belgium.

David Van den Bogaert appointed Country Manager

David Van den Bogaert brings more than 10 years of experience at LeasePlan Belgium, where he has held various commercial and management positions. He has extensive international expertise in general management, sales and marketing management, and business development. With his expertise in driving commercial performance, organizational transformation and his deep knowledge of the Belgian and Flemish market, he is a valuable asset to Targa Telematics Belgium as the company enters its next phase of growth.

Expansion of Belgian business

To further expand Targa Telematics’ Belgian activities, the company is also hiring Sylvie Verboomen as International Key Account Manager. She will strengthen the business drive thanks to her experience in the field of mobility. Sylvie has worked at Athlon for more than ten years in Belgium, France and internationally, making her the right person to help realize Targa Telematics’ ambitions and support growth.
