Targa Telematics, one of the world’s leading players in AIoT (Artificial Intelligence of Things) for the development of digital solutions and platforms for connected mobility, announced 2025 revenues of €125 million, marking a 10% year over year increase, and EBITDA of approximately €30 million.
Following the successful integration of the Viasat Group and the subsequent rebranding process—which resulted in the adoption of the Targa Telematics brand across all international subsidiaries, the company aims to further accelerate growth in 2026, with projected revenue growth of 12%. This outlook is supported by a stable Italian market and an expected 35% increase driven by strong performance in several international markets.
International operations now account for approximately 25% of total revenues. With a strong footprint across Europe and operations in Chile and several African countries, the company is able to deliver global projects through dedicated local teams.
“The acquisition of the Viasat Group, completed in 2023, marked a strategic milestone in Targa Telematics’ growth journey,” said Nicola De Mattia, CEO and Co Founder of Targa Telematics. “The integration of nine companies has significantly expanded our scale, international reach, and capabilities across key market segments. Completing this process has resulted in the creation of a European leader in AIoT applied to the automotive sector, with a strong presence across the continent and the technological capabilities required to support customers in the international digital transformation of fleet operations.”
In its latest Fleet Management report, leading analyst and consulting firm Berg Insight ranked Targa Telematics—reporting an active installed base of approximately 900,000 connected vehicles at year end 2024—as the largest vendor in the European fleet management market. The company has confirmed its leadership position for the third consecutive year, reinforcing its role as a key player in Europe’s digital mobility transformation.
Targa Telematics has also strengthened its positioning within the insurance sector. The company ranked first in Europe for fleet Usage Based Insurance (UBI) solutions in the latest UBI Global Study published by PTOLEMUS Consulting Group, the most comprehensive report on the global connected auto insurance market. This recognition highlights the maturity of Targa Telematics’ crash detection and claims management technologies, further establishing the company as a preferred partner for insurers seeking to enhance their commercial motor and UBI offerings.
